"You are not just a meaningless fragment in an alien universe, briefly suspended between life and death, allowed a few short-lived pleasures followed by pain and ultimate annihilation. Underneath your outer form, you are connected with something so vast, so immeasurable and sacred, that it cannot be spoken of - yet I am speaking of it now. I am speaking of it now not to give you something to believe in but to show you how you can know it for yourself". -Eckhart Tolle

  1. Life is duality, we yearn to stand solid and alone and independent, rising as a single entity to receive our glory, but we are only truly happy and fulfilled when we lose ourselves in others, to find a common ground and communication. There are those who would say that our souls are perfect beings, so advanced that they know all, and the only way that any of our greater souls can communicate is to forget that perfection, to drink the waters of the river Lethe, to become blissfully ignorant again and learn all that we have forgotten on a journey with others, sharing and reliving moments of inspiration and perfection. As Aldous Huxley says our psyche is amphibious, we must spend half our minds in the dry land of aware cognitive consciousness, and half deeply immersed in our sub-conscience, reacting and immersed in the moment instead of analyzing the moment. To put it in pop context: as G.I. Joe says "Knowing is half the battle"
